At the conference “Taxes, State Incentives and Green Transition”, Minister of Finance Marko Primorac presented the Fiscalization 2.0 project, as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (2021–2026).
The completion of the project is planned for the end of 2025, after which all business entities will be obliged to adapt their systems to the new rules.
This reform is led by the Ministry of Finance and the Tax Administration. The goal is to encourage digital and green transition at the national and European level.
What does Fiscalization 2.0 bring?
Fiscalization 2.0 is based on the digitalization and automation of business processes to make business more modern, transparent and efficient. The key elements of the reform are:
- Mandatory issuance and sending of e-Invoices
- Digital archive for storing business documents
- Online bookkeeping in the VAT system
- Fiscalization of transactions between entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs and the state
The goal of the reform is to relieve taxpayers, increase data security and facilitate the transition to green and digital practices.
Who are the taxpayers of Fiscalization 2.0
